I may move this to scraps later. Took a break from the commissions that I've been working on all week (that's Trixie off to the side! And Rarity for size comparison) to quickly work up the body of the Alicorn pattern I drafted up some time ago.
I'm not doing anything beyond this until the commissions are done, but I just had to see if the body worked out, and it did! I'm really rather pleased. You can't see her face very well but I'm happy with the shaping of it. She's not show-accurate large enough, but I wanted her in keeping with the pocket style. She's bigger and that's what counts!
Alicorns will not be available in my next round of commissions, but probably the one after that. I want to finish testing the hair, eyes, and wings before I confirm it.
If you've got a commission from me already, look for a PM in the coming week about mailing your pony and a small thank you gift I'm sending you!
Of course! Had to take a haitus for a bunch of crap for like a month, but that's all over so I'm back to work! And that's actually how I do all my horns, it's just prettier since it's bigger haha. It's basically soft sculpture, a way of stitching through multiple layers of the fabric tightly to another point to create shapes in it. You see it a lot with art dolls, they do it on the face to create noses and other features.
Haha it wasn't all bad, my sister's wedding took up the majority of it but I was sick at the same time, etc etc. But thanks<3 And yeah, it's a lot of fun!
I saw her recently, actually XD About a week ago. I like her hubby. ^^ I'm glad you're enjoying the plushie-making. It's right up your alley too, work-wise.
I'm glad you like her! I can't wait to start making some of them, honestly haha. I'll be taking pics after commissions are through and I've finished her.
How in the world did you get that horn to curl like that?!

Go figure it's the same
